PhD Clinical Psychology
Dr Gaurav Agrawal
Dr Gaurav Agrawal is a philosophy teacher and the founder of Sri Yoga Ashram. Dr Agrawal possesses a PhD degree in clinical psychology and has previously worked as an assistant professor in an Indian University. This dual background makes him exceptionally capable in both ancient spiritual teachings and modern scientific fields. He brings a deep understanding of psychology into his teachings of yoga philosophy. Gaurav was born into a traditional, religious Hindu family and has been fortunate to receive guidance from various great Himalayan spiritual Masters. He teaches yoga philosophy with the help of modern language, real-life examples, and simple, entertaining stories. Through these narratives, students easily comprehend complex philosophical ideas. Dr. Agrawal teaches Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Ashtanga Yoga system, and yogic concepts from the Bhagavad Gita. Due to his unique and engaging teaching style, he is highly popular among students. He is also the author of multiple books on astrology and yoga philosophy.
Bihar School of Yoga
Yogi Arpit
Arpit is the coordinator and primary Kundalini, Hatha Yoga, and Yoga Nidra teacher at Sri Yoga Ashram. He studied yoga at the renowned Bihar School of Yoga in Munger. He is a direct disciple of Swami Niranjanananda and Usha Mata Ji, the famous Iyengar-style yoga teacher in Rishikesh. The Bihar tradition of yoga is known for its extensive use of traditional techniques for self-refinement. Arpit has taught in numerous schools in Rishikesh and is highly appreciated by students worldwide. He teaches yoga with the philosophy that it is an effortless and gentle way of life. Initially, it challenges the physical body, and later, it transforms the body and mind to reach a state of deep calmness, peace, and effortlessness. Arpit is dynamic, energetic, and brings a contagious positive energy to his classes. He also possesses a strong understanding of naturopathy and human anatomy, allowing him to share valuable advice on avoiding and healing minor practice injuries.
500 RYT
Yogi Ankur
Yogi Ankur is the Pranayama and Meditation teacher at Sri Yoga Ashram. Along with breathwork, he teaches and facilitates sessions of Shatkarmas (traditional yogic body cleansing techniques). He has successfully completed his 500 RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) Training Course. Ankur learned advanced techniques of Pranayama and meditation from various respected masters. Having taught yoga internationally for several years, his meditation techniques are highly effective in helping students open up emotional blocks and resolve inner tension. It is common for students to experience deep emotional release and healing in his sessions. He shares a deep scientific understanding of the correlation between breath, mind, and psychosomatic health, guiding students to cultivate lasting inner peace.

Pradeep Kumar ji
Pradeep Kumar is a Yoga Alliance-certified instructor with a Graduate and Master's degree in Yoga. He specializes in yoga anatomy and the biomechanics of movement. Pradeep brings a profound understanding of how the body moves and functions, offering students a highly personalized and anatomically safe approach to their practice. His expertise ensures that each movement is aligned, effective, and tailored to individual physical structures. Blending traditional practices like Pranayama and Ayurveda with modern anatomical principles, Pradeep focuses on physical alignment, balance, and body awareness. His extensive knowledge of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha Vinyasa styles allows him to create flows that not only build strength and flexibility but also enhance the body’s structural integrity.
